The Empty Seats are playing the Supporters Club bar in the South Stand prior to Sunday’s game against West Ham. Fresh from Friday’s gig at the Honeysuckle, the band will again perform tracks from their debut album plus covers in front of what is sure to be a packed house before Sunday’s crunch relegation clash.
Friday night saw a lively performance at the Honeysuckle in Poolstock with the band going down a storm with locals in attendance and Latics fans alike and the night also raised another £300 for The Anthony Ramsdale Appeal from CD sales and a raffle.
Sunday afternoon is sure to be a packed house, and the South Stand Bar is only likely to be open to Supporters Club members so if you’re not a member, now is an ideal time to join as for just a fiver, you automatically become a member for all of next season as well. The Empty Seats debut CD is continuing to fly off the shelves and will also be on sale in the South Stand Bar on Sunday so if you haven’t managed to get your hands on a copy, you can buy one on Sunday for just a fiver with all profits going to the Anthony Ramsdale Appeal.
If you can’t wait that long, or would prefer to have it delivered to your home address, you can still buy the CD online at the Latics United website here.
Here’s hoping that this will just be another reason to make Sunday a great day to remember for Wigan Athletic fans!
