This could be one hell of a publicity stunt. Bob annouces he's staying then the club would quickly follow this by publicising the sale of season tickets.
This was my first thought. It may be similar to Villa and Liverpool stories from previous summers which from my point of view were rather marketing actions than real considerations about his future. I thought then it was to attract some attention from outside. This year, after relegation it could be more about creating an image of loyalty to get some kind of response from inside (fans buying tickets as you pointed out). Whether there will be an official offer from Stoke or Everton or it'll be just a possibility of Bob going somewhere in the highest tier, he can show his devotion to the club by turning down these opportunities.
It doesn't bother me but there's one thing I'm still not sure. Will it be better for the club if we are under Bob for another year(s)? I still have the QPR match before my eyes. For me it was the greatest example of how clueless we were/are.

The above article says plans are on Signet's website but I couldn't find them.

The West Lancashire record article says the facilities at Christopher Park aren't big enough but what I don't understand is there seems to be plenty of unused land around Christopher Park. Unless of course it's green belt.

Plus a third trip to Wembley in August.
It'll not happen but the Europa home, League Cup home and the reserves at home should be included in the season ticket price, or at the least 1/2 price for those games.

Hindsight, The_Pon, Bert the Janitor, Moonay replied to the topic 'The error of our ways' in the forum. The top sides tended to do better from 'Open Play'. Manchester United were the best at 'Set Pieces' but surprisingly we were No7.
What these stats don't address is the tempo of a game. I think when we played at a slow we were more prone to mistakes than when we played the ball at a higher tempo. Also playing suicide balls across the back four contributed to many of our mistakes and also our defenders didn't seem to understand the phrase 'if in doubt kick it out'. What I also noticed last season that we were very poor at throw ins because we frequently lost the ball or in many cases didn't know what to do with it.

Hindsight created a new topic ' The error of our ways' in the forum. This graph shows that we made the most errors that lead to goals.
www.eplindex.com/32621/infographic-error...r-league-201213.html?
I did wonder whether teams that pass the most committed the most errors but there doesn't seem to be any direct correlation.

If the other stats are examined we don't seem that bad so it's likely that individual errors sent us down.
